It's A Myth

It is a very big myth if you think you get any rest in the hospital! I am so exhausted I don't know which end is up. My two cat had a hey day in the house while I was gone. My floor lamp was knocked over, there was cat hair every where, and I just know they did all the things they are not suppose to do since I was here to tell them NO! Well I'm just going to work on things slowly and do what I feel like and rest in between. I got the living room floor vacuumed, started a load of laundry, and cleaned the litter boxes. Time for a break so I'm trying to catch up on my emails and blogging. I guess I should try to eat something. It seems my blood sugars run on the low side. We have a very strong history of diabetic in my family and I sure don't need to add anymore health issues to my problems. I really miss reading everyone blog when I'm away. Looking forward to catching up on what's going on in everybody's life.

Welcome back Wanda. Missed hearing how you were doing.

I have never had a stay at the hospital but can imagine it must be uncomfortable not to be at home and nerve-racking.

Wishing you well, and maybe have small meals or snacks throughout the day. I love wheat thins, yogurt and apple sauce. Good sugar/protein boost.

It totally is. I've spent more than enough time in hospitals for my liver, etc. The beds seem great the first few days, but after that....take me home!! :)

Yes, hospitals of all kinds generate huge stress... be easy on yourself!

Dear Wanda...
No myth here! It's a well known fact that if you ever need to sleep and recover from illness, the very WORST place you could ever be is hospital!
I remember being admitted with suspected meningitis and having some crazy woman creep into my room (I was in isolation) and try to climb
up my wall!
I don't sleep well at the best of times but hospitals...? No way.

I'm glad you are out of there Wanda and hope tht you are feeling a bit better.

Thinking of you,

WS xx

You know a friend of mine just told me the same thing!!She said she was glad to be home.

Guess one thing at a time is the best solution.I try to schedule everything when I wake up and almost always end up not even doing the half of it.

Guess the key is just to go to the flow.Hope you can enjoy a light good meal.Take Care!!

Good for you for taking things in moderation and taking breaks. Things are so much better when you're not frantic, you know?

And remember to take care of yourself and your body. You are SO worth it.

Wishing you well,
NOS

Hey Wanda...welcome back....Glad to see you here again. I spent time in a hospital when I was at my worst...it was really hard and now I actually work in one. People tell me all the time they can't sleep there.
