art is magical like that, makes us present to the moment, not worrying about another moment. Nice to see your piece and thank you for your visit.

Her expression is terrific, she is either surprised or startled from the looks of it. If drawing helps you forget your worries for a while it has done it's job.

Your artwork is awesome! I didn't know that it is your passion, too! I love to draw and haven't been doing it in a while. Take care and God bless.

I love drawing portraits too. I can never decide what I like doing most either. Some days is landscapes, other it's portraits or animals. That's what makes it so fun. :)

I know I say this every time you post a drawing, but YOU ARE SO TALENTED! Really! Faces are so difficult to draw, and you nailed it! I'm so glad you have found a therapeutic activity for yourself.

Wishing you well,
NOS

This is a terrific picture, Wanda. Art IS a great way to forget your worries - if you're good at it! For me it just becomes a worry itself! ;)

I read your profile - sounds like you've had to endure quite a lot. I'm sorry to hear that, but glad to know you are trusting Christ and growing stronger. Wish you the best!

Peace,
Mark

I am so sorry you have worries! I hope they ease with time. Great that you are seeking what it is you like to draw and pushing yourself. I find I am happiest when I draw something inspired by a memory. When I was a kid I remember always drawing Iris flowers.

Very expressive face.

Why think of a subject, as in a form to depict? Let it flow. Crayons, water colour, lipstick, ink, tea, - on this paper in front of you you are free to do what you want. Just allow it.
