Discouraged

Sometimes trying to do the right thing can be so discouraging. I am juggling so much right now, Trying to get treatment I need, helping a friend who has had surgery, and selling my home. Nothing seems to be going well. I am going back to using Fit Day.com to tack my calories. My therapist said we would focus on a meal plan Monday when I see her again.  I am so sad I can hardly stand it and I feel so hopeless. Sometimes I just feel like throwing in the bag. I'm trying to stay on top of this, but it is so hard. I'm obsessing on all the wrong things. I hurt so bad that my chest hurts. Tomorrow is a new day, maybe it will be brighter.

I'm so sorry you're struggling right now. But despite your hardships you are still optimistic-- that's great! I think that trait will take you very far in life.

Juggling can be hard-- is there any way that you could focus on one at a time? Don't forget that what's most important is taking care of yourself.

Wishing you well,
NOS

Wanda, I sure hope things change for you soon.
I haven't been a follower of your blog that long, but I want you to do something. Get a Bible and start reading in the book of John. It's a most comforting place to start. John describes Jesus as a healer, as someone who loves everybody(especially the downhearted, as the Savior of all who place their trust in Him.
You haven't asked me to, but I'm going to be praying for you. I'll pray that His will be done in your life and His will is always perfect.

Follow me back if you wish and I hope you wish to as it makes it easier for me to re-visit your blog.

God bless you Wanda, God loves you Wanda.

Hi Wanda. I think we've all felt discouraged and hopeless at one time or another. I always try to go back to Peter when Jesus bid him to walk to Him in the water. Peter was fine, as long as his eyes were on Jesus. But the moment he looked at the impossible stormy waters he had to go through to get to Jesus, he began to sink. Eyes on Him. Always. He will see you through each storm.

I have felt the same way with the damage to my house and the need for money that I just don't have. The grief you have suffered is much greater than my material difficulties, though. I wonder sometimes if there is some sort of horrible, challenging cycle that the people of this world are going through. But that's just so much rumination.
I wish I could do something to help, I truly do!
