I'm really concerned about the government shut down. I do not believe the ones responsible will be losing any pay. Maybe if it could effect their pocket books they would be a little more ready to make some compromises.This is the last thing our economy needs right now. We are at a point of recession and this is only going to make things worst. Can we forget party lines and make this work? Come on now. I guess this is the only political post I have ever made, but I am really concerned on what this is going to do to our country.

I'm so tired of the government I actually stopped watching the news becuase it was all so depressing...Isn't it just awful? You are right; THEY are NOT losing money; UGH!!!

I am so confused. I know what a shutdown is, but I don't know why we are currently on the verge of one. Did something happen to trigger this? Or is it just the deficit?

That's what I said, it's not about what political parties want. A lot of people have been hurting and they need to settle their differences. God help us! Blessings.
My son is a corrections officer in a federal prison and I worry about what his will do to the prison system.
I don't understand everything but being a financial analyst, I can tell you that if we don't do something soon, America is in a lot of serious trouble. For one thing, we need to turn our heart's back to God not just as individuals but as a country as well.
