Since I have been keeping my dream journal, I've notice there is a recurring theme. There is a crying child that wants something from me. The child is always young, about 4-5 years old or less. Maybe it is my inner child. I will be interested to see what my therapist says next week.

I too would like to hear what the meaning is also. Please keep us posted Wanda. Blessings and hugs to you!
Praying that you will discover the meaning and hopefully will be useful towards a positive outcome. Blessings.
Thanks for stopping by my blog and commenting. I bet you are right about the crying child being your inner child. I look forward to visiting your blog now that I have found you.
Take care:)
For me, dreams can often give me information for healing my incest issues. Thanks for visiting my blog earlier today.
Hey Wanda,
I think that your interpretation is probably right.
Weirdly enough, my T hs asked me to recall all my dreams and like you, I have a recurring theme of a little girl who is always behind a door in a variety of situations.
Our unconscious is a strange mechanism isn't it...
Hoping your T can help you understand more.

I remember that I heard a young girl crying day and night inside me. Considered ymself a nutcase, went to a therapist finally and learnt about my inner child. I listened, learnt, let her grow up and walked with her for long, by now we have merged. Wish you well.
definitely interested in what she says!! Did you get the scholarship for weekly therapy?
praying for you. I'm glad you have that therapist you can feel safe with. Sarah
I hope you get a good answer from your therapist, but I think it is you in the dream, asking you to finally heal. Maybe then you will have a smiling and happy little girl in your dreams? :)
I hope this can cheer you up....I left something for you over at Candles, Crafts and Whatnot. Congrats!
Take care,
Kat
crying children.... lets see what your therapist thinks.... please let us know
I have had dreams like that when I am very unhappy and worried. I sometimes wake up making crying noises. Perhaps it is the inner child.
