Friendly Encouragement

I meet a friend yesterday and we had a cup of tea together. It was a nice time to talk, We talked about everything. We hadn't seen each other in a while. It was encouraging and uplifting, We talked about the possibility of me going back to school. Yes at my "old age". So many things are up in the air that I'm not sure. It was an interesting thought. It might give me some understanding in to myself if I took some physiology classes.

Today has been a little rough. I went through some of Chris'  stuff and took another bag to Good Will.  I then went to see him. I still cry like a baby. I needed to do it because if Alice does move back I would need the space. I still am so stressed and depressed. I didn't sleep at all last night which is no good. I guess thing will eventually get better even if the track record is bad.

I'm so thankful for all the encouragement that is given to me by my blogging friends.

It's nice to have a friend who can lift up our spirits. Never underestimate your skills that God gave. Nothing is ever too late sister.

Sometimes, buckets of tears may never heal the deepest pain/wounds but at the same time can be comforting. May God's comfort and strength always cover you.

I agree - crying is cleansing - holding it in is not. I am thankful for your friend. sandie

Hi Wanda. I'm glad you were able to have that time with your friend yesterday. I know how cathartic it can be to have someone listen to you.

That would be really cool if you were to go back to school!

I'm sorry today was rough. Don't judge yourself for still grieving over Chris's death. I think you are so strong and your reaction is very reasonable given the circumstances.

On a different topic, I'm sorry for my absence for the past few days. I had to go home to take care of my Dad. Thank you for caring. It warmed my heart to see your comments on my blog.

Wishing you well,
NOS

Hello Wanda! I have no idea what "back to school" means in your country, but if it means to think, have interesting interaction, read, write - then it is good: Use your brain! You have a ton of experience, of life, of emotions, situations - if there's a possibility to atb into this, if you have the possibility to learn soemthing that helps yourself - simply check it out, see what is possible. What you do and deceide is another step, just sort the possibilities.

Some days will be better than others Wanda. Glad you have a friend who you can share during these times. Blessings.

Well, I went back to school in my 40's. I still wonder sometimes if I did the right thing. I think it's the right thing if you take courses that YOU want, not what other people want for you!
