Remember

As the cool air and fall comes, I remember the fun we used to have. Playing in the leaves and throwing them in the air. Carving of punkins and eating popcorn. Halloween was so much fun then. We would dress up and walk all over the neighborhood. There was no fear, just lots of candy, apples, and fun. Today so much more care is needed for the little ones. They are not as safe as we were. It seems such a shame that world is not as safe as it was. I will be helping at our church's fall festival where the little one can come dressed up for a safe evening of fun, but it still seems that they are missing the fun we had as children so long ago.

Our church is having a Harvest Festival as well. I'm fairly new to this church and it will be my first time going. Looking forward to it.

JIP: Sorry you have scary memories of this time.

Wolfbaby:
With your little ones you can make some new memories. I'm ss sorry about your Mom. She seemed like she was real special from what you have said. (((wolfbaby)))

Marja:
I think you will enjoy the activity at your church. The little ones are always so cute.

Wanda: Where do you get these jolly old pictures--too cute! Yes, yesterday I was crunching in the leaves on the way to pick up my precious punkin from school--love it! I wanted to let you know that I'm back from the trauma program I went to and I want to thank you for looking in on me while I was in my down time. THANKS! :) I hope your depression is lifting. Thoughts and prayers your way!

I have so many fun memories growing up of halloween. I agree with you now a days we have to be so very careful with our little ones. I allowed my family the fun of dressing up, and we took them to the church for a party when they were younger. I also then drove them to homes where we were sure they were safe.

I miss those days... getting dressed up, running around the neighbourhood trick or treating with friends...
