Must Someone Die for Change.

For months now I have been in the Medicare "doughnut hole". For those of you not familiar with this it is the time when Medicare will not pay for any Rx until you have paid $4040.00 out of your pocket. My Rx cost is more than my disability check each month. Therefore I can NOT afford my medicine. If you have been watching my blog you can see the effect not having my medicine has had. I wonder if the Medicare standards would be changed if a life was lost due to not being able to get needed medicine. I have exhausted my entire saving and still have no end in site. Loss of hope causes one to think the unthinkable.

Lilly some how I lost your comment, but I have been refused by drug companies because I have Medicare. I am therefore insured and can NOT get medicine from them. I make $200 too much for state help, so I am screwed!

I like Lily's comment in the last post. I had problems withdrawing from psych drugs, too. It's never a comfortable or easy thing. I mostly had to wait it out. Maybe you can do a google search to see if there are other ways to ease it, too.

Wow. They get people coming and going, don't they? Shit.
The disability payments are at 1960 rates, but the costs are at astronomical Star Trek rates. Insane!
Excuse me while I go bang my head into something.
