Black Friday

I WANT TO SPEND MONEY! It is black Friday, I'm manic, and broke. This is not good. I'm trying to keep myself busy around the house. Maybe I'll put up the Christmas tree. That would keep me busy. I hate when I get this way. I'll give the car keys to my son, so I can not go out shopping. Yes concentrating on decorating and that will keep me busy.

When I was drinking - nothing, absolutely nothing could prevent me from getting in the car and driving drunk if I really wanted to. Thank God I don't have to do that anymore.

I hope your activities around the house satisfy your inner self and slow you down.

God bless and prayers,

At least you have a plan dear one. I know it is hard. I am in an anxious mood, but not like you. Just something stirring within. God is moving again. Ugh!

Tomorrow soon will be here, and you can forget about Black, Green, Blue Friday.

Hugs to you..... (((((Wanda)))))

come decorate my house ... I'm oh so dreading it! Don's not happy that i refuse to even discuss it until after finals (Dec 11) but ... I just can't do it all!

Hello my friend,
This is kind of an anxious time of year for a lot of people. I wish we could just learn to enjoy it without all of the commercialism. I never go out on "black Friday" though, I can't stand the crowds and everyone bumping into me! :) Take some pics after you decorate so we can see too :) Take care dear,

I hear ya. I don't want to go out but I do want to spend money on the Internet. I don't like the crowds so I don't like to go to the mall. However, I literally have 55 cents to last me till Thursday. I found myself getting pretty depressed today too. F**k Black Friday.

Wanda, way to keep yourself (financially) safe! Seriously, it must have been incredibly difficult to give your keys away-- that takes a lot of self-control. I hope you found that putting up the Christmas tree occupied your time well enough.

I just wanted to let you know that I have been thinking about you while I have been in treatment. I hope you're doing well. You deserve all of the happiness in the world.

Be well,
