Exercise

I started "day one" on my new exercise program. I'm exhaused, but at least I started! I've forgotten how many days it takes to make this a habit, but the first one is done! Now what I need is someone to encourage me to keep this up. For health reason I must do this. With the connective tissue disease, I'm in a lot of pain. That is all the more reason this is important. I need to keep the joints from becoming stiff to reduce the pain. I know that exercise will also help my mood, and recently it could really use a boost. I'm trying not to think of this just for weight lost, but to improve my health. Believe me losing weight would be a great benefit, but I need to take better care of myself. I'm told, sensible exercise is one of the best things I can do for my health problems. Maybe there is more exercise than pushing the buttons on the remote control. Wish me what it takes to make this a life style change!

GO WANDA!!!! You can do it. It takes 20 days to create a habbit. (or at least thats what research has shown) You've got one down. You can totally do it, and soon will be encouraging the rest of us to stop our finger exercises and start limbering up ;-) Keep up the hard work.

Wonderful that you got the first day done! I know the feeling how hard it is to keep exercising. While biking it took me about 2 weeks for it to really feel like a habit. You can do this! I should start again with you. I got out of the habit when my family visited me. Time to get motivated again.

We are also trying to create the execise habit. We decided to take a beginning tennis class at school! Force the habit. ;) We don't really belong in beginning because we were on the team in high school, but it's been so long since we played and we are sooo very out of shape...anyway, we are also doing it for the health benefits, weight loss is a *welcome* side effect if it happens.
