A New Year

A New Year is here. Anyone make any resolutions? It is always a good time to reflect on the good, the bad, and how can I make things better. I guess health wise the best thing I did was lose a little weight. Right now I am fighting not to gain it all back. It was a rough year for me in 2013. I am hoping for a better 2014.  Depression is a thief. It steals your joy and energy.

We are in the middle of a deep freeze. It is so cold outside. Our front porch and ramp are frozen solid and we don't own any ice skates. lol We stocked up with groceries before the front came in. We really don't need to get out until Thursday.

I am going to try to be a little better on keeping up on the blogs I follow. Peace to all.

I refuse to make resolutions. I always try to do more of the stuff that might be healthy/helpful and less of the stuff that isn't. I always found that the whole "New Years Resolution" thing only made me feel worse about myself, so I stopped doing it.

Happy New year! Wish it rains though in southern CA! So dry but what beautiful weather! Glad you're staying warm. God bless and may it be a great year for all of God's children.
