I sometimes wonder why some people have so many difficulties in life. I look at my life and think there has been so much pain and I am so damaged. He understands all my flaws. All of them! I have to say that not all my prayers have been answered. I hope not to offend anyone, but it is true. He did not save my son's life and I don't understand why. I would have died for Chris to have lived, but it was not to be.
If I can give hope to one person then that is good. Hope is what we need more than anything. A hope for a better tomorrow. No child abuse, sexual abuse, ED, and no chronic illness. Sounds good.

I like this. I want to be like Jesus too.
There are lots of things we don't understand. Jesus didn't promise we will have a great life here in this world. But He did promise eternal life and His spiritual blessings as we give ourselves to Him. May His comfort and strength empower you. God bless you sister.

I know it is a different philosophy, but the Buddha taught that life is filled with suffering and we must conduct ourselves in a compassionate manner towards our fellow beings, who are also suffering. In a sense, Jesus did this too. I see them as being similar--highly enlightened souls who serve as guides. I don't know if sharing this helps at all.
