When Does It Become Fun?
I have been on my exercise program now for almost 3 weeks. I'm alterating water aerobic, walking, and weight training. I can say it is a habit and I don't hate it, BUT when do you start loving it? I hear people say how much they love to exercise and I wonder what part they love. Is it the sore muscle, sweating, or what? I'm just kidding. I acutally feel good about it. I have lost a couple of pounds and know that I doing something good for myself. Next step giving up junk food! Here's to health!

It actually becomes fun when it dosn't hurt so much:) believe it or not it is very true.. when i was in gymnastics I used to hate the hurting part of it but once it stopped hurting so bad it was way cool to be able to do all this neat stuff:)
HA- ummm I dont remember it becoming fun...... I HATE sweating
I've never been good at keeping fit, finding exercising a boring thing to do. I'm just not a very physical person. I do stuff with my head, not my body.
But a couple of years ago I joined a Curves in my neighborhood. And I must say, I LOVE going. It's not just a place to move my body. It's a social event. Although I know very few of the other members by name, I know them well enough to chat with them. Sometimes we have a lot of fun. And I know I'm healthier for it.
I have never been one to think that exercise is fun. I wish I could have a mind frame for that! You should be so proud of yourself. I think you rock!
I think it becomes fun when it is A) a social event (like at curves) or B) you've got a sick obsession with it like I do.
Let's not take the latter choice for you ok?
Just wait a few weeks till I'm closer to you and we can make it a social even ... K? (ooooooo then I can work out at HS AND work out with you! YEAHHOOO!!!)

Tag .. You my friend ... are it!!!
Way to go! And keep it up!
It becomes fun when you embrace it. When you're able to laugh at yourself while doing it, or when you do a belly flop in the pool right before the water arobics ;-) It becomes fun with you see the physical, emotional, and spiritual benefits working out can produce. Keep up the good work Wanda, I'm super proud of your achievements and effort!
Benjamin said I shouldn't have tagged you. He wanted to. So he tagged you anyway.

I actually like to exercise. It's never made me thin, but I like being able to take deep breaths, which I couldn't do when I smoked.
